More traffic, bookings and loyal customers, too good to be true?

Here is how you turn an Image recognition API into a cash machine:

Before we go into technical step by step detail here is little exercise: Close your eyes and let your imagination free flow about your next vacation without limitations. Tropical Island, Romantic restaurant, Water sports, Pool Party and probably a whole lot more flashes of images and film rush through your brain.

Imagine that you are an Online Travel Agency like What if we can search those fantasies? Show me where the best beach is, show me that pool party hotel and whatever else you have in your holiday mind.

With the image recognition API you can turn those fantasies into landing pages. When you are an online travel agency or meta search site you can offer your users an experience that will convert and will convert fast! Take a look at our demo page for image landing pages.

That’s it, we humans, think in images, we create desire from images and so we get inspired by images. This was our basic concept when we created this algorithm to recognise vacation experiences with the University of Amsterdam.

Step by step guide to create the landing pages

- Get image dataset
- Run the API
- Generate landing pages from image groups.
- Order image tags on SEO location value.
- Start getting traffic to the new landing pages.

Turn the landing page into SEO killer pages.

The tags from our Image Recognition API are already of certain SEO influence as you connect them with a location. E.g. [Rooftop Pool] in “Phuket” , “Thailand” From your database you know from what hotel a certain image is and therefore you know from what location and so you can organise all “rooftop pools” in “Phuket” Get the point?

But you can also make a heading like "things to do in. " and then take some of the activity labels from our Image Recognition API like “riverside walks”, “mountain biking”-, “kayaking”, in this way you can create a "things to do in -location-" landing page of every location you have in your database. and

There are lots of tools out there that will help you find the right longtail keywords to make your landing page a SEO killer page. The ones we fell in love with is KWfinder and Ahref. Both very good though KWfinder is priced much friendlier. But you can do the same stuff with SEMrush and Serpstat for example.

The secret sauce of SEO automation

As you see at our demo site there are more then 1200 landing pages. You dont want to optimize them by hand. So you need a way to automate it. an algorithm? Yes!! We are working on that 🙂
But for the time being you can do it yourself by finding generic local longtails.

For example "Things to do in -location-" is always a good longtail keyword in almost every location. In some location the keyword difficulty is too high but on average you will get results with this.

That is the fitting blog for anybody who wants to search out out about this topic. You notice a lot its nearly laborious to argue with you (not that I really would need…HaHa). You undoubtedly put a brand new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, simply nice!
